Bell'mare, St. Martin villa review
We loved our stay at Bell’Mare!! Several months before we stayed at a different house up the street and thought we’d try one down on the ocean! It was amazing! You can walk straight down onto the beach and also have access to the hotel amenities next door while still having a log of privacy. The house had a great setup. Essentially 3 en suites on 3 different floors so there was plenty of room to spread out. The views were great and the outdoor space allowed for great entertainment! There’s a very step hill coming down to the house (along with others getting to the house) so we would highly suggest a Jeep Wrangler/4 wheel drive only.
Bell’Mare will not disappoint! We always go through WhereToStay and have been very pleased each and every time:)

Guys, this Villa home was more than Outstanding and Amazing. The home was beautifully laid out, everything was super clean, the house had EVERYTHING you could need, the house keeper and concierge was involved and concerned about what made us comfortable. The home itself was beautiful. The master bedroom was the most comfortable and the most convenient. The only downside was the Bluetooth speaker did not work and even with that a simple text to the concierge got it fixed
Our representative Jean was completely involved and great. Jean did everything from ensuring I made my payment in time, arranging additional services like the mobile massage, and being available at al times. Because of Jean I will use Wheretostay from this point on regardless of the place.

This villa was very nice and has the best view of St Martin. From the time we booked to the time we left the property manager and the the staff from where to stay have been very helpful.

Bell’mare has wonderful views. It is located in a very secure area on the island with easy driving to areas on the French and Dutch sides. The actual house was clean and well maintained with all of the extr4as that one needs. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
All personnel at WhereToStay were friendly to work with.

House was perfect for 6 people.
View was beautiful.
Beach was at the end of back stairs, so close.
Hotel next door let us use there pool,they had a pool bar drinks where reasonable priced.
The pool at the house was small but nice and clean and did the job.
Oasis restaurant was excellent 10 minutes away.

We are coming back! This was perfect! Beautiful villa overlooking Dawn Beach. We were able to get pretty much anywhere on the island in 20 minutes from here. Having the beach access was amazing! We walked over to the Westin outdoor bar for happy hour each evening. The villa was clean and had a nice island vibe. The concierge helped get us to and from the villa, which was great! Very close to the French side for great food and groceries! 10/10 experience with everyone involved with the villa!
Andrew helped us plan an amazing trip! Excellent service!

This was our 6th time renting the villa. We love the location and view. The local neighbors are great to interact with. We will certainly returning again next year.

Cannot beat the size of the pool deck as with gorgeous views of Dawn Bay you’ll spend most of your time outside. Everything works great well equipped kitchen and great bath/bedroom comforts.
My wife did most of booking however she was always surprised Betsy would check in on our plans. She even provided a grocery shopping service so that we were able to not have to stop by the store on way back from airport.

Best Escape Anyone Can Have

This villa provided us breathtaking views to wake up to every morning on this beautiful island. The location of the villa on the Atlantic side provided us a constant tropical ocean breeze. The views were truly stunning. The dining area opened up to a spacious pool deck. We enjoyed being able to use the walkway down to the beach. Oyster Bay is just a few minutes away, highly recommend eating at the Big Fish. We private chartered the Sea Eagle with Captain Benye for a day at sea around the island. He was amazing, very knowledgeable and took us to some great snorkel spots. Money was well spent with him.
We have traveled to many islands throughout the years. We continuously go back to Shawna at Wheretostay and we have never been disappointed. We are so grateful that we have had the opportunity to experience a bit of paradise together as a family.

Bell'mare, St. Martin villa review
Villa Bell’mare was perfect for our needs. The bedrooms are spacious, and each provides a wonderful view. The kitchen is well stocked, and although we did not spend much time in it, the interior living area is nicely appointed. This villa is all about location and view. Sitting on the pool deck (or under the attached cabana) and watching the waves is the moment I know I have arrived on this special island.

I just came back from our (two couples) eight-day stay at Bell’mare. “Wonderful” sums it all up!
The property is made for couples staying together in one villa. There is lots of privacy, all the bedrooms are equal in size, they offer great amenities, etc. The pool and patio area overlooking the ocean is so nice that it is a hard decision to leave the property to go visit places on the island.
We would rent again in a minute.

It’s a wonderful villa and I would stay there again in a heart beat! It was hard to leave. The scenery is beautiful, wonderful view. Size was just right. Kitchen perfectly stocked. We absolutely loved our stay! I can’t wait to book again.
It was great working with Jean and her team. The recommendations were extremely helpful and on- point.

Villa Bell’mare was a great place to stay. Location location location! Well equipped home right on the beach with easy access to walk on the beach or go to The Westin. Loved having the pool and all the outside seating area. Great way to start the moring. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer. Being able to cook meals, mostly on the grill were an added bonus. Not having AC in the living/kitchen area were a little difficult for us Louisiana folks since we are accustomed to fully AC’d living.
WhereToStay is a great company to find rentals. Working with Shawna was easy. Shawna responded quickly to all requests and questions about this villa. We look forward to working with her again in the future.

It was outstanding in every respect - but two things.
Bell'mare, St. Martin villa review
This place had the best view of any place we have been, including Kauai, Carmel and Sydney. The name Dawn Beach speaks for itself. Also, the villa appointments are first rate with the best showers ever!
However, the first drawback was the lack of air conditioning in the great room/dining/kitchen. This was not a comfort concern, but a worry about how furnishings will hold up in the humidity.
The second drawback was that the drive to and from the villa at night (and it was no picnic by day, either) deterred us from much after dark activity. Even Fabulous Feasts charged a $25 delivery surcharge due to the difficult drive.
However, the quality of the property, the views and general amenities were such that we would not hesitate to choose Bell’Mare again.
