CieloMar is nestled among lush foliage in Peninsula Papagayo, a 2,300 acre gated community on the coast of Costa Rica. Elevated three hundred feet above the sea, CieloMar emphasizes ocean views, dramatic design, and resort-level luxury.
An Arnold Palmer golf course rests to the east of CieloMar, and the ocean stretches across the northwestern horizon. One of the villa’s most unique architectural features is a cantilevered bridge that extends over the pool deck and extends towards the horizon. The bridge is furnished with lounging furniture and tables, so it’s the perfect place for sunset cocktail hours. The infinity swimming pool is perched at the edge of the terrace and lined with charcoal-black volcanic lava stone. Loungers, armchairs, and umbrellas flank the pool for sunbathing, reading, or napping. An outdoor living area sits behind the pool under the veranda.
CieloMar’s curved design combines privacy with modernity for a luxurious experience. Air-conditioned interiors face ocean views through floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors. The Great Room’s opulent design revolves around all-white furnishings, a reclaimed wood dining table, and an ornate light fixture. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and curated cookware. On the lower level, there is a home theater with bean bag chairs, a projector screen, and theater lighting; as well as a fitness room with equipment for weightlifting, cardio, kickboxing, resistance training, yoga, and Pilates. Ping pong and board games are also provided.
Up to twelve guests can enjoy CieloMar’s six bedrooms. Each suite offers an ensuite bathroom, a flatscreen TV, and ocean views. The master suite offers a king bed and a completely private, sunken Zen garden with an outdoor shower. On the upper level, there are two queen suites and a home office. On the lower level, there are two queen suites and a children’s suite with two twin beds. One of the lower level queen suites has a private terrace as well. Cielomar is maintained by daily housekeeping, and a cook will prepare delicious island cuisine.
At CieloMar, guests are only a five-minute buggy ride from restaurants, golf, shops, tennis courts, and the spa. The Four Seasons Resort, Prieta Beach Club, and the Arnold Palmer Golf Course are within a five-minute drive, and the beach is only three minutes away.
