Know Before You Go...®
Arc En Ciel is set in an exotic wonderland with volcanos, waterfalls, and the Piton mountain range. Its near diving, snorkeling, mineral baths, and lush gardens. Plus, the property itself is bordered by beautiful flowers and ocean views.
Infinity pool with stone cave and waterfall!
Arc En Ciel sits amongst the Piton mountain range on Beau Estate. The home’s various verandas, jalousie shutters, and wooden railings echo Old World Caribbean architecture.
Petit Piton towers over Arc En Ciel, and the ocean is a few hundred yards away. The home is made up of a number of small pavilions connected by verandas, so there’s several spots to relax and soak up the sun. Landscaped gardens envelop the property in a wide variety of tropical flowers and trees. On the lower level, there’s an outdoor living area under the large, covered patio. Enjoy casual dining and drinks at the bar after taking a swim in the extensive infinity pool. The pool weaves through the patios and ends in a stone grotto with a waterfall and small windows. There’s also an observation tower with two levels of lounging space.
The living and dining rooms sit in the center of the house and are tastefully furnished. A TV, stereo, and DVD player provide entertainment. The formal dining table can seat 10, and opens to one of the patios. A modern, well-equipped kitchen and laundry room complete the villa. Arc En Ciel is maintained by its resident staff seven days a week, which includes a housekeeper, maid, and maintenance man. Chef service and a gardener are also available.
Arc En Ciel has five air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own TV, DVD player, and stereo. The master suite has a queen bed and a patio facing Petit Piton. Its ensuite bathroom also has a glass wall facing Petit Piton, so guests can enjoy views of this mountain from the soaking tub and the shower. The suite opens to its own swimming pool and sun deck in an enclosed garden. The other two queen suites also have a private patio and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are situated downstairs and open to the swimming pool. Each has two twin beds, a private patio, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub. The living room also has a sofa bed.
Arc En Ciel sits above the sea and is a short distance from Sugar Beach. Soufriere, a sleepy fishing village, is the nearest town. This area is a World Heritage site, and features a volcano, waterfalls, snorkeling at Anse Chastanet, and Diamond Estate’s exotic tropical gardens and mineral baths.

Heaven
Arc En Ciel Villa, St. Lucia villa review
We stayed at Arc en Ceil for 95 days. We spend six to seven months per year renting villas and Arc en Ceil is, by far, the finest facility we have rented. Gorgeous setting between the Pitons and a staff that is second to none. This is as close to heaven as one could ever be!

This is the place to experience before you die!
Arc En Ciel Villa, St. Lucia villa review
Arc en Ciel is truly beautiful, surrounded by an outstanding setting. I can recommend perfect poolside tranquility, or a stomp up a Piton or two!
Also, the service is spot-on! I loved the fantastic attention to detail in the house. Without ruining too many surprises, be sure to lie on a sunlounger and watch the sunset, over-looking the infinity edge of the main swimming pool.

Arc En Ciel Villa, St. Lucia villa review
This is, without doubt, the best holiday destination I have been to. Arc En Ciel is a delight to stay in and a pleasure to return to after a day’s outing.
The surroundings are beautiful, and the facilities available are plentiful. I would certainly recommend this to anyone!

Arc En Ciel Villa provides sublime views, a beautiful house and a fantastic pool. I had a wonderful time.
I also recommend the helicopter ride from the airport.

Would have been a 5 - a few issues
Arc En Ciel Villa, St. Lucia villa review
First off the Diana, the Chef, was amazing. She and her crew treated us like royalty. Her dishes were fabulous. The Villa itself is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous and it is a very short but steep paved walk (10 mins) to the ocean.
The reason for only 4 stars: We had a broken toilet in one of the bedrooms from the start and never got fixed. On our last day, Marcus from the Villa management company came so that we could pay for groceries. He told us that he had been to the Villa almost daily, but this was the first we had met him. He had not heard of the broken toilet. Hmm, we had mentioned it daily to Raymond, Property/Security on site. Would have been nice if Marcus had introduced himself to us before our last day.
Lastly, read your grocery bill closely. We were billed for cases of beer, coke and sprite which we never asked for, nor did we drink. After some grumbling, Marcus did credit us for the case of beer.
Toilet aside, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at Arc En Ciel again.
WhereToStay.com and Shawna were easy to work with. They were unaware of how many staff members there were when it came to tipping. We were told 3 and there were 8, luckily we all had brought enough cash. As mentioned above, we never met anyone from the Property Management Company which from correspondence from Shawna & Sharon we thought we would on the first day. Instead, Diana, the Chef, was our key point of contact. She organized taxi’s for our excursions and changed the massage times. She was marvelous.
