Bright Idea is a luxurious four-bedroom villa on almost two tropical acres of waterfront property in Chalk Sound. With panoramic views of the sound and a full maintenance staff, this vacation rental is great for couples or families.
This villa has a private cove with beach chairs, a dining table, and two kayaks. Its surrounded with tropical foliage for privacy and has direct water access. Up on the terrace, an infinity-edged swimming pool sits in the center of the sundeck. Trade winds keep the deck cool as guests sunbathe on loungers or dine al fresco. Sapodilla and Taylor Bay are a short walk or drive away. The rental includes a membership to private tennis courts on Taylor Bay, and Sapodilla Bay is ideal for children, as it slopes very gradually and there is almost never any surf. A gardener and pool maintenance keep the exterior pristine.
Whitewashed interiors combines with chic decor in the living room. There’s an entertainment system and flatscreen TV, a small desk off to the side, and sliding glass doors that face the ocean view. The kitchen has quirky mosaic countertops, standard appliances, and garden views. There’s also a powder room for guests’ convenience. Both of the king suites are upstairs, and each has an ensuite bathroom and private balcony. One bedroom can be converted into a twin suite for children. The main house and cottages are all fully air-conditioned. The guest cottages have a cozy living area, a kitchenette, and one bedroom each. These cottage suites can be converted into twin suites if preferred.
Chalk Sound is largely residential, with a couple rental shops and Las Brisas, a waterfront restaurant. Busier Grace Bay is only a 10-15 minute drive away though, and has every activity under the sun.
