Karukera villa makes the most of its ocean views with an open design. Every room has sliding glass doors that lead to the pool deck and view, so you can stare at the sea wherever you are. If you want to get even closer to the sea, Orient Bay is only a short drive away. The waves are great for water sports and the views are picture-perfect.
Contemporary design with sweeping views over Orient Bay!
Karukera villa sits on the St. Martin hillside with panoramic views of Orient Bay. This villa is ideal for travelers who want privacy and convenience. The villa is near amenities and activities, but is also gated.
The unique terrace sits in the middle of a lush lawn facing the sea. The terrace wraps around either side of the freeform pool, with loungers for guests to sunbathe on. The outdoor living area sits under an open-air structure that faces the sea, and an al fresco dining table sits behind. The dining table is conveniently near the kitchen on the right-facing side of the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances as well as an espresso machine, coffee maker, wine cooler, and ice maker. The middle of the villa holds the living and dining area, which can be opened to the island breeze or locked shut depending on guests’ preferences. Stay entertained with the living room’s flatscreen TV. Three of the four bedrooms are equally sized, and the fourth bedroom is located in a separate bungalow complete with a kitchenette and its own private entrance. All four bedrooms have air-conditioning, exterior access, and an ensuite bathroom with an outdoor shower.
Karukera villa is near several restaurants on Orient Bay, which is a white sand beach that wins over many visitors. There are water sports, loungers, and umbrellas available for rent. It has great waves since it’s on the Atlantic side of the island, and gorgeous views.

Excellent Villa experience
Karukera Villa, St. Martin villa review
Our stay at Karukera Villa was really great. The layout of the villa afforded everyone space and privacy- along with great common areas, both indoors and out. The folks at “Where to stay” were responsive and professional – also respecting our privacy and desire to be away from it all.
to be that close to all the offerings of Orient Bay is a real bonus.

Karukera Villa, St. Martin villa review
My wife Amy and I absolutely loved the Karykera Villa. Jean and Lori are fabtastic consultants! I highly recommend them. The transfer from the airport was great, we preordered some food and wine, Marius met us on arrival. He is great! Natalie, our cleaner is very sweet. Our experience could not have been better! We will work harder so we can spend more time there!!!!!!!

Karukera Villa, St. Martin villa review
The house was beautiful. So relaxing to sit in the shade and stare at the ocean while having coffee. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Had all you could need. Close to some stores and places to eat. Pool was too chilly to be able to enjoy in the evenings which was kind of a bummer but, it was the end of November.
Jean and WhereToStay did a great job, simple and easy and as expected.
