Lovely family vacation house
Sol e Luna Villa, St. Martin villa review
My husband and I have visited St. Martin numerous times renting various villas in Orient Beach. This time we brought our two young children and decided to stay in Terres Basses. It was the perfect location and villa for us. Sol e Luna was beautiful with a fabulous pool (perfect for little children and adults), gorgeous views and landscaping. The house was airy open, and well decorated with all the amenities for cooking, lounging, hanging out (and more)! Beds were super comfortable and loved the outdoor showers! Some of our favorite vacation days were spent at the villa relaxing and playing/reading by the pool. The gated location felt very safe and was such a short distance to Porto Cupecoy for groceries, breakfast, and dinner (restaurants).
The housekeeper is so personable, accommodating and wonderful! We loved our experience and will definitely book another stay at Sol e Luna!
Shawna was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful with the entire process start to finish. She answered my many emails and questions with great feedback and support.

St Martin
Sol e Luna Villa, St. Martin villa review
The villa was wonderful. Plenty of room and great views. The pool was the perfect size. Christine, the housekeeper, was wonderful and made the stay even better. We felt secure and safe the entire time and could not be happier with the experience. We would recommend this villa, as well as this trip, to anyone and everyone.
Shawna was very helpful, especially given the Covid situation which none of us could have predicted. She was able to work out all the details and we very much appreciated it.

What a great place!
Sol e Luna Villa, St. Martin villa review
My husband and I got married on St. Maarten in May ‘07. We had our honeymoon here as well. We stayed at Sol e Luna. This place was beautiful.
Every room had a different vibrant color, and was very clean. We were very happy with our decision to stay here. This was my fourth visit to the island, but my first in a Villa in Terres Basses. It’s a secluded part with pretty views.
I recommend Sol e Luna for everyone; honeymooners, groups or families. There was plenty of room, and lots of great amenities.
The only thing I was a little thrown by was that the maid came every day to clean up - and also to feed the dog on the premises. We were on our honeymooon, and we wanted full privacy, so I told her we didn’t want her to come until we left. She spoke very little English, so it was hard to communicate—but we figured it out.
She asked me who would feed the dog—and I said—"Dog? There’s a dog here?". I told her I could feed the dog - which to me was no problem, I love animals. However, my husband is not much of a dog person. I would’ve let the dog out of the cage so he could run in the fenced in backyard, but my husband didn’t want to. The dog was very friendly and didn’t bother me.
That was really the only thing that threw me off. It was never mentioned there was a dog. What would I have done if I was afraid or allergic to dogs? Then I would have to had the maid come every day to feed it, and my private honeymoon would have been ruined.
