Marea is so secluded, it feels like you found your own private island. You can get here by land, sea, or air, since the villa has its own anchor points and heli-pad. The kitchen is equipped with two of each appliance, so you could easily cook for a crowd.
Secluded oceanfront villa!
Marea rests on seven acres at the end of Ditleff Point, and is one of the most secluded luxury villas on St. John. This gated property enjoys modern amenities including WiFi and SONOS, and is fully powered by solar energy.
Stunning cliffside views fill every inch of Marea’s vantage point, filling every glimpse with the sea. The expansive exterior encompasses the freeform pool, a winding brick-laid deck, the Jacuzzi, and a tiki bar. There’s a rooftop terrace perfect for star-gazing, a waterfall, and landscaped gardens. Marea Villa includes kayaks, snorkel gear, beach chairs, coolers, and many water toys. Off the large driveway, there’s a private sandy beach. If guests prefer to arrive by boat or air, the villa also has its own yacht anchor-points and heli-pad.
The Great Room is surrounded in floor-to-ceiling windows with button-activated shades, Costa Rican sliding doors, and local stone walls. The entertainment center includes an LED TV and surround sound, while the formal dining room is furnished with two tables. Marea’s kitchen offers state of the art appliances, including two sinks, two ovens, and an eight-burner stove. The kitchen also has Italian ceramic dining ware and a walk-in wine cellar with over 500 bottles of imported wine.
Each of the five cliffside suites enjoys east-facing, sunrise ocean views. The suites are outfitted with flatscreen TVs, outdoor showers, and exterior access to the terrace. There are two king suites in their own separate pods, a third pod with two double beds, and a fourth pod with a king suite on the top level and a queen suite on the bottom.
Marea Villa is located at the very tip of Ditleff Point, but is still only 15 minutes from Cruz Bay’s restaurants and shopping. Weddings are welcome.
