Mermaid Falls Villa is a beautiful home with even more beautiful views. The ocean stretches as far as the eye can see in either direction, with mountains on the horizon. The sitting area in front of the wet bar is a great spot to take in the view while enjoying a meal al fresco, playing cards, or catching up with your fellow vacationers.

Mermaid Falls sits between Peter Bay and Trunk Bay on the northern end of St. John. The estate’s elevated location provides unforgettable ocean views from the main house and guest cottage, which are linked by a coral stone deck, covered patio, and wet bar.
An attractive coral stone walkway flanked by palm trees and tropical foliage flows into the impressive oceanfront terrace. A coral stone sundeck and rock wall borders the curved pool, and a waterfall cascades overhead. Beneath the covered patio, guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, a cocktail, and a good book while soaking in the ocean view through the Doric-columned archways. A wet bar sits nearby, and loungers furnish the adjacent sundeck. The villa’s hot tub is ensconced in lush gardens to the side of the villa.
A prominent Caribbean architect, Michael Oxman, designed Mermaid Falls to feel elegant and timeless. Graceful arched passageways, tiled roofs and floors, mahogany doors, baluster railings, and beamed cathedral ceilings outfit the villa. The two-story main house hosts the kitchen, living and dining areas, and three bedrooms. The gourmet kitchen is well-designed for any cook, with stainless steel appliances, a massive center island, wraparound quartz countertops, and modern cookware. The elegant dining room opens to the ocean view through several French doors. In the living room, guests can lounge and relax into plush, cushioned sofas and armchairs.
A hand rubbed mahogany staircase leads up to the master suite and queen suite. In the master suite, there is a four-poster king bed, a writing desk, reading chairs, and an ensuite bathroom with a whirlpool tub and tiled shower. The queen suite is down the hall and offers an ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower. On the lower level, there is a spacious kids room with three twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower. Each of the main house’s bedrooms has a satellite Smart TV, air-conditioning, and a private, tiled deck with gorgeous ocean views. In Mermaid Falls, there are two air-conditioned bedrooms with queen beds, satellite Smart TVs, and ensuite bathrooms.
Mermaid Falls Villa is a short drive from Trunk Bay and Peter Bay, which both have amazing snorkeling reefs and trails. There are several ruins and hiking trails in either direction for guests to explore, as well.
