The three bedrooms make it perfect for families, friends, or two couples traveling together. The home offers much in the way of privacy, and the large patio area with pool, as well as the upper decks, give you incredible views of the sea and surrounding hills. Cruz Bay is just 20 minutes away by car, perfect for a day trip. And while there you’ll find local eateries, shops, and much more.
Located within the USVI National Park!
Esprit Villa is nestled high on Bordeaux Mountain with views that span from Jost Van Dyke to Virgin Gorda. Native stone walls and tropical plants surround this private multi-level home. Best of all, Esprit Villa (located inside the USVI National Park) is cooled by trade winds all year long.

The master bedroom has a four-poster bed and many artistic touches. It also offers an indoor/outdoor shower. The charming little lower bedroom (in typical cottage style) is perfect for a single adult or teen. Two of the three bedrooms include TVs.
Outside, brush palms actually grow through the pool deck, giving this villa a distinct St. John charm.

We had an amazing vacation on St. John.
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
This was my husband’s and my first trip to an island - much less to St. John. It was more than we could have ever pictured or imagined - from the villa accommodations to the St. John countryside!
The Villa was spectacular in every way. We enjoyed the view outside the villa’s front deck overlooking coral bay and Tortola; lounging poolside every day after our trip to beaches; beautiful plants nestled on the grounds; and to resting inside this well maintained neatly decorated spacious home. We couldn’t have ever expected more. We had every amenity you could imagine!
The trip was pure peace and relaxation. Our 30th anniversary gift was spent at a place we will always cherish. We will definitely go back.

This was surely a home away from home.
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
The Esprit Villa was an excellent location for my journey because of its unprecedented central location, giving me the quickest access to any spot on the island. Whether I wanted to visit Cruz Bay or Coral Bay, I found the journeys not as demanding as could be if I were down in the Bays themselves. Set high on Mt. Bordeaux, Esprit Villa offers an excellent common ground for the entire island.
As for the the villa itself, I felt the comforts, the conveniences, and the even the luxuries modern homes provide. The best part to me, though, was the view. Waking up in the morning and sipping tea or coffee on the multitude of porches was a luxury I will never misplace.
The sheer beauty of the landscape around you is a foresight to peace of mind you achieve by weeks end. Slopping mountain sides, tropical forests, and angelic waters warmed my soul like no other exposure could permit. If you are the type of person who admires nature like me, this place will surely set your perspectives straight for the irreplaceable beauty this planet has to offer.
The seclusive location of Esprit is unmatched by any villa on the island. It sits among pure nature, something you can’t get at the lower altitudes. These lower villas tend to be urbanized. The island is 70% +/- Nationally Protected land.
A vacation here is for those who want to experience pure island life without all the capitalization of developed lands. Esprit is the perfect setting. Enjoy the beauty!

This is a great villa getaway with porches, mountain views, and island breezes.
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
Our St. John vacation was a wonderful experience due largely to the homey Victorian style, mountainside villa we stayed in ~ Esprit.
Its three full porches, one with views of their lush colorful gardens and two with breathtaking views of mountains and aqua bays with sailboats, made it special.
It was well appointed and comfortable with everything one would need—from games, books, movies to comfy beds and a nice kitchen.
In addition, it’s conveniently located only a few minutes from a number of beautiful beaches. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Esprit Villa is kid-friendly.
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
What an amazing place to share with family!
We felt so comfortable within the surroundings, and our thre-year-old daughter "became one" with that pool! It took us about a week to get her to want to wear clothes again! She played and entertained herself a lot just by walking up and down the bench that lines two sides of the pool. It was a great way for all of us to relax and enjoy each other.
We really felt like we were in a magical place full of beauty and peace when we took a moment to breathe deeply and take in the views from the porch, or by exploring the flowers and plants that surround.
We never felt cramped in the space, and we went with two other couples!
It was absolutely breathtaking inside and out. Talk about feeling pampered! We’ll come back in a heartbeat once the timing is right again!

Esprit Villa boasts awesome views!
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
Wow - talk about a million dollar view!
Quiet, secluded and being centrally located on the island made this villa perfect for us. It was close to the North Shore beaches and Coral Bay, and just a 20-minute drive to the ferry dock in Cruz Bay. We didn’t need a four-wheel-drive to get there, either.
This villa had all the comforts of home - and then some. There was a great selection of movies, board games and books for evenings in.
We made fantastic drinks from the garden fruit trees, and enjoyed our meals on the covered verandah looking out over the British Virgin Islands, Tortola and Virgin Gorda.
Unexpected surprises were an artist’s easel, telescope, porch swing and cool outdoor showers. The week went too fast for us, so we have already planned our next visit to Esprit.
You’ll love this place.

It was heavenly!
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
How can you fully experience all the great views of St John? Hang out on the pristine beaches during the day, then go and relax on your porches at Esprit- high atop Bordeaux Mountain.
The down island views east to Virgin Gorda are so amazing. Esprit felt cozy from the moment we walked in. The tropical gardens surrounding the villa were so lush, but the views- we will never forget them!
We’ll be back.

St John's Esprit Villa
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
The view from Esprit surpassed our imagination. The villa itself is more remote than we anticipated. The villa has all the amenities necessary for a great trip. Few areas require some TLC, particulary the deck. Overall the accommodations were very comfortable.

Villa it’s self was extremely nice experience wasn’t
Esprit Villa, St. John villa review
We were not allowed to check into our villa upon arrival after being told by “where to stay” we could. We missed a flight and were put a whole day behind. I paid for the villa for 5 days and our vacation was already cut short to a whole day that I had prepaid for the villa. Upon arrival I was told “check in” isn’t until 3pm. I was supposed to check into the villa the previous day but for unforeseen circumstances arrived the next day. I found it very frustrating after over 24 hours of traveling and having a villa that I had to pay for we couldn’t check in. After finally talking to someone at where to stay I was told we would be compensated for our day. After check out and multiple emails I was told “where to stay” will not be refunding my day and they were “very sorry”. If I was unable to check into my villa well after our allowed time to check in the right thing to do would’ve been refund my day. As a business owner myself that has to solve customers problems regularly I found the no responses to emails and the refusal to refund my day they didn’t allow me to get into the villa very unprofessional.
Great until there was an issue. Once there was an issue she was unresponsive.
