Sunrise Villa sits on the northern coast of Dominican Republic, with claim to 400 feet of beachfront property. Its located in Orchid Bay, an American-owned gated development, and offers exclusivity and central air-conditioning.
El Calento de Dario is within walking distance of the villa, and there’s several palm trees that shade the sandy shore. This beach is one of the most quiet on the island and has plenty of space for the resort guests who frequent it. Villa guests can start their day with coffee on the veranda and end it with drinks from the spacious, well-stocked wet bar. The pool has a lap area, a wading area, and a hot tub that can hold 16. There’s two acres of gardens and terraces, so its easy to find the perfect reading or lunch spot. Guests can play chess under a canopy of trees or dine under the veranda. On the wooden terrace, there’s several formal dining tables and a gas BBQ grill. The massage gazebo and hammock provide even more space to relax.
The villa’s Main House has a 2,000 sq ft Great Room and a massive dining room. Guests can stay entertained with the flatscreen TV, board games, book library, computer, billiards table, and a stereo system. There’s a media room for movie nights as well. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a large range hood, a Kitchenaid mixer, blender, coffeemaker, and a massive prep island. Sunrise Villa’s staff is made up of a chef, bartender, housekeeper, gardener, laundress, massage therapist, security, manager, and concierge.
There are eight bedrooms total, each with a full, ensuite bathroom and ocean views. The bedrooms are located in four separate houses, each strategically clustered around the pool and hot tub. All bedrooms feature safes for locking valuables, roomy closets, and executive refrigerators. The Diamante Suite is located on the second floor of the Main House and equipped with a king bed, full size sleeper, private balcony, sitting area, and full bath with a two-person shower and Jacuzzi. The Presidente Suite is nearly 1,000 sq ft and has separate sleeping and living areas. There’s a king bed and a full size sleeper, so this suite is ideal for a family-style vacation. It includes a two-person Jacuzzi, a separate shower, a bar, and private balcony with ocean and pool views. The Royal Palm and Samana Suites each have a king bed and gorgeous ocean views. These suites are separate, but identical. They’re each situated on a 20-foot cliff overlooking the ocean and includes a private veranda, a full bath with a Jacuzzi, and a outdoor shower. The Piscina Suite is a two-bedroom, two-bath suite with a connecting living room. Each bedroom has a king bed and a pull-out bed. The living room also has a full futon, a TV, and a Sony PlayStation. This poolside suite even has a private veranda with pool and ocean views. The two Garden Suites each have a king bed and a full sleeper sofa in their sitting rooms.
Sunrise Villa is super secluded, but only 2 minutes from groceries and restaurants. Its a 5-minute drive from Playa Grande Beach as well.
