Come home to the regal splendor of Ridgemont, with its captivating ocean views overlooking the silky white sands and compelling surf of Long Bay on the northwestern coast of Tortola, BVI! You will be charmed by gentle island breezes, swaying palms, and cultivated gardens that embrace this island abode.  This is a most comfortable accommodation for up to 10 discriminating guests with two unique pavilions that flank a tranquil pool.

Upon arrival, make your way through the welcoming Great Room in the L-shaped eastern pavilion, with French doors on three sides that let in both tropical sun and stunning sea vistas that go on for miles. The vaulted ceiling adds to the stately appeal of this divinely expansive space. There are several sections adjacent to the Great Room like a complete entertainment center with all electronics, the dining with its glass-topped table, and a well-equipped gourmet kitchen. Step out onto the wrap-around verandah where sister Virgins Jost van Dyke and Sandy Spit take center stage amongst a variety of smaller islets and cays.

Suitable for couples, extended families, and corporate retreats, Ridgemont offers up five elegantly appointed, air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite baths. Each bedroom features its own theme and color scheme–no one will be disappointed! Throughout the villa you will catch glimpses of verdant hillsides that give way to the enchanting crystalline blue ocean that is dotted with islands–an ever-changing land and sea scape that shifts with each of the day’s transitions. The ocean views from Ridgemont are incomparable and available from within the villa from all points, including each bedroom suite.

There are two bedroom suites on the upper portion the main pavilion, one a king and one with two twin beds, which may be converted to a king with advance notice. At the front of the main pavilion is a staircase, which leads to a lower level bedroom with its own full kitchen, classic 4-poster bed and a grand shower. To the rear of the pool deck is an additional full bath with shower, convenient and ideal for a post-jaunt refresher. The second, 2-story pavilion on the opposite side of the pool provides two additional bedrooms, one on each level. The upper bedroom has soaking tub. These bedrooms are perfectly situated to offer advantageous ocean views.

For those who must tend to important matters, there is a study with relaxing views all around, designed to encourage you to take care of business and return your full attention to paradise as quickly as possible! Grill and dine out of doors on the deck beneath arched porticos while recounting the day’s adventures around a table that seats up to 10. Read, nap or sip cool refreshing drinks on outdoor sofas and lounges, or escape up a set of wooden stairs to the gazebo–a delightful aerie from which to take in magnificent sunsets and the changing color palette that heralds the stars as they twinkle into existence each night.
With exterior colors that recall the gentle yellow of local blossom Ginger Thomas, the azure blue of the sky, and the greenery of the hillsides, Ridgemont is a vision from without as well as within.
