On Gibbs Beach!
Waverly House is a warm, beachfront villa on Gibbes Beach in St. Peter. This home is built with coral stone in a traditional Barbadian style, and is bordered by lush, manicured gardens.
A short, garden path leads to a small gate, which rests under a verdant, leafy archway. Gibbes Beach is just beyond the gate, and the archway perfectly frames the sea. For more private swimming, Waverly has its own plunge pool in the midst of a coral stone deck. Loungers surround the pool, and the veranda is adjacent. Under the veranda, there’s a cozy nook for cards, cocktails, or coffee, and a dining table for six. A series of arched French doors lead into the living room, which has a 32” flatscreen TV and plush seating. All three air-conditioned bedrooms are upstairs. The master suite has a king bed, a balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower and vanity. The second suite has a king bed and shares a bathroom with the third suite, which has two twin beds. Their shared bathroom has a tub/shower and a vanity.
Godings Bay is just up the coast and leads to the historic Speightstown is nearby. Godings is home to several restaurants, and Speightstown has shops and activities galore.
