Every room at Solandra Villa enjoys a view of the sea. The villa has its own pool steps away from the golf course, and several shops are nearby. Solandra guests also get access to Sandy Lane Beach Club’s private clubhouse, beach chairs, and full bar. The villa works well for two couples, and comes with a full staff so all you have to do is relax.
Stunning views of Caribbean Sea from every room
Solandra Villa is set within landscaped gardens and mahogany trees in the Sandy Lane Estate. This home is perfect for any family who wants to soak up sea breezes and ocean views.
A multi-leveled deck leaves plenty of room for every guest. On the lower level, there’s a large lap pool surrounded by loungers, dining nooks, and potted plants. A short staircase leads up to the dining gazebo, which has unique light fixtures and garden views. There’s also a manicured lawn for playtime, picnics, and sunbathing. Sandy Lane’s golf course is a few steps from the pool, and the resort’s beach and clubhouse are a short drive away.
The elegantly decorated and spacious interior has high wooden ceilings, an open design, and nonstop views. The living and dining areas have contemporary furnishings, a U-shaped sectional, and a flatscreen TV. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with standard appliances, a wine rack, an extensive breakfast bar, a gas stove, and a prep island. Solandra’s three bedrooms are each air-conditioned and ensuite. Upstairs, there are two king suites with tubs and showers in the ensuite bathrooms. Downstairs, there’s a twin suite with two beds.
Solandra is near the Platinum Coast, which is home to several restaurants, attractions, and water sports. A housekeeper, laundress, gardener, and cook maintain the villa.

Solandra Villa, Barbados villa review
I’ve never had a more relaxing vacation than when I’ve stayed at Solandra (this is my third time). Nothing beats watching the sunset over the Caribbean from the veranda. I also enjoyed quiet mornings, listening to the birds, and watching the occasional monkey run past.
The food at Solandra was to die for - each meal was better than the ones before. It just keeps getting better and better!
Since the house is part of the Sandy Lane Estates, guests have access to the private beach, adjacent to the Sandy Lane Beach Hotel. Huge trees provide ample shade over sections of this private, well-kept beach, making it possible to enjoy the incredible view, without scorching in the Caribbean sun. You really can’t beat it.

Nice stay
Solandra Villa, Barbados villa review
The staff were outstanding. Ms. Jay and Ms Nancy are just amazing and a pleasure.
The house is nice but they need to address two issues:
1. Bedroom near the swimming pool - bathroom needs to be upgraded
2. The living Room needs at least two fans. It was very hot at times
3. Air conditioning in the lower level bedroom and the master are not powerful
