Electra is located on the third floor of the quiet and wonderfully located Schooner Bay complex.
Electra is a 2-bedroom resort villa that combines modern conveniences with relaxing ocean views. This resort villa has everything guests could need to make themselves right at home. With a king master suite, a spacious queen bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a full kitchen with open living and dining areas, everything guests could possibly need is provided! There’s also a long, private balcony overlooking the pool with views out to sea. A hotel nearby offers water sports, and the wonderful Speightstown shops and cafes are within walking distance.
Garden Views
Electra at Schooner Bay is a two-bedroom resort villa located on the third floor within the Schooner Bay complex. Electra overlooks the Schooner Bay swimming pool, and tropical gardens, and has great views of the Caribbean Sea.
This 2-bedroom/2-bathroom villa is furnished simply and has the benefit of central air-conditioning.
An entrance hall with powder room takes guests into the large open-plan living area. The wide sliding doors lead out onto the dining terrace. The living room is equipped with a large TV and cable access. The kitchen is fully fitted with all appliances.
A range of activities can be enjoyed while at Schooner Bay, including the on-site gym, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, and of course the Caribbean Sea. Water sports are also available at Cobblers Cove Hotel, located a short walk across the beach. Here guests will also find a bar and restaurant.
The poolside and beach are equipped with sun beds exclusively for Schooner Bay use.
Amenities include daily maid and laundress services; a cook is available at additional fee. Schooner Bay has an onsite gym and property manager, as well as 24-hour security. Speightstown, located just a short walk from the development, offers a host of restaurants, waterfront cafes and casual bars, as well as a supermarket, banks and quaint shops. Located on the beach, Schooner Bay residents enjoy direct access to the white sands and aquamarine seas of the island’s west coast.

Wonderful Villa and Complex

This was our third stay at Schooner Bay, so obviously we love the place. Ownership has just changed hands, and some of the items noted in other reviews need to be addressed. The reviews are accurate, but we never noticed anything but the view! Ultimate beauty, peace, and tranquility.
Andrew is the best. I wouldn’t book with any other agency.

Lovely apartment in a stunning location

We had a fabulous time at Schooner Bay. #401 is tastefully furnished and very well-equipped. We enjoyed the stunning views from the balcony and slept comfortably. The pool was perfect for the kids, and the beach right outside offered fantastic snorkeling. We even saw Hawksbill turtles a short distance away. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Excellent Unit and location
Schooner Bay #401 Electra, Barbados both review
Our 2 week vacation was from April 29 to May 14, 2017. The unit has 2 bedrooms with king-size beds, and the kitchen has all the gadgets. We really enjoyed staying at this upscale condo development and Penthouse. The fish market and supermarket are in walking distance, which is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, and a short trip via cab or bus will take you to the best shopping mall in Holetown: Limegrove Mall.

Loved Schooner Bay
Schooner Bay #401 Electra, Barbados both review
This was our third (and best) get-away trip to Barbados. It was the best combination of location, accommodations, and service for us. The complex is beautiful and quiet, not visited by the loud party boats that drop anchor near some other spots. Speightstown is wonderfully quaint - no glamor, no bustling nightlife at all, but some good small restaurants. Five-star dining is a 15-minute drive or taxi ride away. Bustling nightlife requires a much longer trip. On top of all the inherent beauty, peace and tranquility, we were able to avoid the only aspect of Barbados we don’t care for: the ubiquitous all-day en suite housekeeping presence in most villas. Ours was perfect and minimally invasive.
Excellent service at all stages from pre-booking to the conclusion of our holiday. This was our second booking through Andrew. We will be using WhereToStay again!

Lovely Condo
Schooner Bay #401 Electra, Barbados both review
The condo was lovely and the complex is very well-maintained. It is, however, a little tricky dealing with the security aspects in place. You need a fob to get to the pool area and also out to the beach and back. This means a little juggling is in order if you have 4 people and only two fobs.
Two suggestions for the owners: lights on the terrace and instructions for the major appliances would be nice. Once the sun sets it is very dark out, and eating or sitting outside becomes problematic. Also, all of the markings have worn off the microwave and the oven, so we had to guess which button did what (we never did figure out the microwave). But all in all, it was a very nice place to stay.
Andrew is always a pleasure to deal with, and he’s very responsive.

The villa was excellently decorated and looked like it does in the photos. It is very spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. The grounds are lovely and the swimming pool was nice and quiet. There was good access to the beach which is also very nice.
Andrew was quick to respond to any questions we had and service was very good.
