Nestled in the landscaped grounds of Castle Close Estate, this cottage is a reasonably priced, quiet, tropical haven. Step outside through the back doors and hop into the spacious, inviting pool. Lounge chairs are placed around the pool for sunbathing, and you can sit under the poolside arbor to enjoy reading or napping in the shade. Inside, there is a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings, an adjoining dining courtyard for eight, a well-equipped kitchen, and a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer. When you are ready to venture out, there are some lovely beaches and activities a short walk or drive away.

Hunter Cottage is one of ten villas in the Castle Close Estate on the southeastern coast of Barbados. Like all of the Castle Close Villas, this cottage has been tastefully furnished and designed for ultimate relaxation.
A freeform swimming pool sits in the center of Hunter Cottage’s manicured gardens and lounging deck. Loungers, armchairs, and umbrellas furnish the deck, and a large arbor provides shade at the head of the pool. The master bedroom, dining room, and kitchen open to the enclosed courtyard, which offers al fresco dining. There is also a furnished terrace off the living and dining areas, and a short bridge connects this terrace to the pool and lounging deck.
Coral stone walls and tropical hardwood floors create an inviting atmosphere within the villa. Hunter’s elegant living room features garden-inspired rattan furnishings, cushioned sofas, and an entertainment center. WiFi, Cable TV, a DVD player, and docking stations are all available. The garden courtyard bridges the living room and the kitchen, which features standard appliances, a coffee maker, and a BBQ grill. A washing machine and dryer are available in the laundry room, and Hunter Cottage’s housekeeper is present to take care of laundering linens and cleaning the cottage. Daily security is provided in the Castle Close Complex.
Each of Hunter Cottage’s bedrooms are air-conditioned and ensuite. The master suite features a king bed and enjoys access to the dining courtyard. Its ensuite bathroom offers a shower, tub, double vanity, and hairdryer. The queen suite offers a reading nook, a study, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The twin suite enjoys a chaise lounge, a study, and two beds that can be made up as a king. Its ensuite features a shower and vanity.
Hunter Cottage is within walking distance to Sharks Hole, which offers protected swimming in a quiet cove. Crane Beach and Bottom Bay, two of the most popular beaches on Barbados, are less than ten minutes from the villa in either direction. There are also several attractions within a short drive, including the Sunbury Plantation House and the Bushy Park Racing Circuit.
