Glitter Bay 204 Frangipani sits on the second floor of the Glitter Bay resort. This two-bedroom villa enjoys a beachfront location, daily housekeeping, and central air-conditioning.
Frangipani’s shaded balcony features a marble-topped dining table and banquet style seating. Two wrought iron chairs are perfect for enjoying morning coffees or pre-dinner cocktails. The balcony enjoys a lovely view of the extensive gardens, pools, and the sea. An elevator provides easy access down to the beach, where umbrellas and loungers wait for Glitter Bay guests. The resort bar serves snacks and drinks, but beach attendants are also available to deliver refreshments to guests’ beach chairs. On the other side of the bar, a lagoon-shaped pool and wading pool wind through a grove of palm trees. The resort also offers floodlit tennis courts, a playground, and an air-conditioned gym.
The open plan living area is fully air-conditioned and furnished with two large sofas, flatscreen TV with cable, and a DVD player. Wood-paned sliding doors open to the balcony and ocean views. The kitchen has dark granite countertops, a large sink, and stainless steel appliances. Cutlery, crockery, glassware, cookware are all provided. A washer, dryer, ironing board, iron, and hair dryers are also available. The master suite features a ceiling fan, a king bed, and light pine wood furnishings. Wood-paned sliding doors lead out to the balcony, and the ensuite bathroom has a walk-in glassed shower with a double sink Marfil vanity. The second suite has a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, a DVD player, and two twin beds which can be made up as a king. Light pine wood furnishings compliment aqua and off-white hues. The adjacent bathroom has a combined shower and tub and a marfil vanity.
The Glitter Bay resort is located on the Platinum Coast near Barbados’s most famous restaurants and beaches. Dining and attractions are a short drive away in either direction, including the Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane Golf Courses.
