Bachelor Hall is a regal estate with a beachfront location, seven elegant bedrooms, and a rich history. This luxury villa sits along the Platinum Coast of Barbados, and stretches across 3.4 acres of oceanfront property.
This villa is ensconced behind a private entrance, a winding driveway, and lush gardens lined with mature palm trees. Two open-air courtyards with Koi ponds add charm, and an adjacent drawing room offers a spacious, wraparound patio and a bar that are perfect for sunset cocktails and evening gatherings. Palm trees and tropical foliage border the pool. Seating for over 15 people is available in the lounge area, and the dining terrace seats 10 guests around an elegant, round table. Savor uninterrupted views of the Caribbean Sea while the villa’s chef prepares unforgettable cuisine at the Teppanyaki bar. Wherever guests choose to relax, Bachelor Hall provides a magical atmosphere for sunbathed soirees and moonlit moments.
Vintage chic decor influences Bachelor Hall’s bright, traditionally Caribbean interior. Arched French doors surround the sitting area’s plush furnishings, and a vaulted ceiling with ceiling fans accentuates the space’s airy atmosphere. The modern kitchen is a chef’s dream, with modern equipment including an espresso machine, three separate fridges and freezers, and a standing wine cooler with double doors. Bachelor Hall is staffed with a chef, sous chef, and a kitchen assistant who will attend to guests’ every dietary need. A housekeeper, butler, and laundress also ensure guests can be totally pampered.
All seven bedrooms at this luxury villa have king beds, ensuite bathrooms, ceiling fans, air-conditioning and flatscreen TVs. The ground floor suites near the kitchen are ideal for extended family members or anyone who wants a bit more privacy. The garden suite has a private patio, easy access to the pool, a double vanity, a bathtub, and a separate bathroom with a bidet, standing shower, and walk-in closet. The second bedroom can adjoin the garden suite and is suitable for children. Bachelor Hall’s elevator and an elegant staircase lead to the upper level’s three suites. An oceanfront breakfast terrace connects the master suite with the oceanfront suite. The master suite is fit for royalty, with an ocean-facing patio, armchairs and chaise lounges, and a writing desk. A few steps leads to the suite’s private lounge with plush furniture, a TV, and a second entrance to the private patio. The master suite also enjoys an incredibly spacious walk-in closet and a his and hers bathroom. The bathroom features a serene skyscape and marble countertops and tiling. The other two upper level suites enjoy open-air dining spaces, pool views, and balconies. The final two suites lie above the gym, overlooking the pool, with beautiful ocean views.
Bachelor Hall is close to La Baguette, home to the most delectable French pastries in Barbados. White sand beaches and beachfront restaurants are minutes away, as well. Holetown’s boutiques, fine dining, golf, and tennis are also a short drive away.
