Thank you so much for making our family vacation nothing short of fantastic. The Villa exceeded our expectations with all the amenities it offered from really nice beach and snorkeling equipment to the newly built gym and theatre room that was used every night to watch movies. All the bedrooms are in separate locations which gave everyone nice privacy. The villa is in a very quiet location with beautiful sunsets and the sound of waves crashing all day and night. What really made this one of our best vacations was the hospitality Rita and her team provided our family with during our whole stay. They were was so gracious. They cooked, cleaned, laundry, and did our grocery shopping for the week. Rita cooked us breakfast and dinner numerous days and the food was excellent. We look forward to going back again real soon and can’t wait to see Rita and the team again. Forgot to mention, one of the most beautiful beaches, Shoal Bay, is less than 2 miles from the Villa.

It was another great experience. Jean was very helpful in picking the right Villa for us in Anguilla. Our concierge Lucy was fabulous. Through every step of the way after booking, Lucy provided all the necessary information for our trip to the island and what to expect when we arrived. She was also very helpful in recommending restaurants, activities, and charter boars from St. Martin for our arrival and departure.

A Perfect family vacation

We had an incredible time at Sandcastle Pointe and can not thank our villa manager Rita and her staff enough for making it so very special. We were greeted at the ferry by Rita, and from the moment we entered the villa, she and her staff made us feel like VIP guests with champagne and a delicious welcome dinner!

As a family vacation, the whole experience was wonderful. Rita and her staff took care of all our housekeeping, laundry, groceries, and even many of our meals. As foodies, we can say Rita’s meals were great and it was a wonderful option if we didn’t feel like eating out. If you’re in the mood to eat out, Rita will be happy to make suggestions and reservations for you too!

In regards to the villa, the views are breathtaking and the villa itself was wonderful. Down the road is one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see and spending time there is memorable.

We will always remember the amazing people and wonderful memories we made in Anguilla. I would strongly recommend this villa to anyone who is looking to be pampered while they relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds Sandpointe Castle. Rita and her amazing staff made us feel at home throughout our stay. If you have children, you will definitely feel like you were on vacation too and return home relaxed and grateful for your time at Sandcastle Pointe. Thanks again for a perfect family vacation!

Wonderful stay on Anguilla at Sandcastle Pointe Villa

Sandcastle Pointe is a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. We traveled with 4 couples in our party. The house was definitely large enough for all of us. The bedroom configuration is set up so every couple had their own space and privacy. Each bedroom has a view of the ocean, a balcony, and its own outdoor shower. While the two upstairs master suites were slightly larger, the main floor suites did not disappoint.

The entertaining areas at Sandcastle Pointe are a nice addition to the villa. We all enjoyed the pool table and bocce ball court. The bar has its own ice maker, which made packing our coolers for trips to the beaches much easier.

We have stayed in several villas on Anguilla, and while all have been nice, the one thing that sets Sandcastle Pointe apart is the hospitality service provided with your stay. Rita and her team take care of anything and everything you need. Not only do you rent an amazing villa you also receive a total concierge service, meal preparation, laundry service, housekeeping and personal shopping service. With all of this figured in, I feel like Sandcastle Point is a better value than anywhere else we have stayed on Anguilla. Rita and her team prepared several meals for our party and they were all wonderful. Rita also took care of all our transportation needs, such as rental cars and taxi services. You also will not need to waste a lot of your vacation running to grocery stores, simply give Rita the list of items you would like and she will have them waiting at the villa when you get home. If you want to take an excursion, Rita will set this up for you as well. She knew the island so well that she was always able to find us a better deal then we could have found on our own. One of my favorite services was the laundry service. Simply put your dirty clothes and swim suits in the clothes hamper and when you return from the beach, Barbara has magically left them in your room clean and ready to go. That was such a time saver. Who wants to waste valuable vacation time doing laundry?

Our experience working with Shawna and WhereToStay.com was very positive. When Delta canceled our flight and failed to inform us until the morning we checked in, Shawna worked with Rita to find us a charter flight from San Juan directly into Anguilla. It was nice to have someone working behind the scenes while we were mid-flight and unable to research charter flights.

We stayed at this villa in early June. Our party consisted of three couples. We really had a great time. 

The villa was absolutely stunning. It included an infinite edge pool, a pool table, a putting green and croquet area, and a fabulous view. 

The four bedrooms were all air conditioned and had indoor and outdoor showers. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel equipment were all provided. 

We also appreciated that there was a Vonage line which allowed for free calls to the US, in addition to WiFi. 

Rita was absolutely amazing and made sure we had a great stay.  I cannot thank her enough. I highly recommend this villa.

Sandcastle Pointe at Shoal Bay, Anguilla villa review

It was absolutely spectacular in every way. We can’t wait to return! The website pictures were nice, but this brand new villa must be experienced to believe!

We’re not going to bother listing all the amenities (check the web site), but we couldn’t think of anything else we needed. The house was beautifully designed and maintained with a fabulous open floor plan blending inside and out allowing for spectacular ocean views from every room. The grounds were stunning with croquet and putting greens. It was truly Paradise - we spent days never leaving the house!

The house sits far out on the land giving you perfect privacy and the constant trade winds shield you from hot days. We happily spent most days lounging on the deck/infinity-pool area, but also walked to nearby Shoal Bay Beach once or twice. We even climbed into the ocean right in front of the house and snorkeled one of the nicest private reefs on the island on a few calm days. The sunrise and sunset views were, again, spectacular. Also, the stargazing was unbelievable.

We’ve been visiting Anguilla a few times a year since getting married at Cap Juluca in 2005, so we’ve seen many villas and top hotels on the island. However, we’ve already booked for the end of this year to renew our wedding vows!

Unlike the hotels and other villas, these homeowners and their staff make you feel like family - Sandcastle Pointe is the place you must stay.

Sandcastle Pointe is the epitome of elegant, yet a comfortable and relaxed, seaside retreat. Situated close by Shoal Bay Beach, it is arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.

It was a perfect vacation home for four couples, affording extreme privacy for all. Two bedrooms had king beds, and the other two were queen. All had amazing full baths, and enclosed, open roof, outside showers.

The floor plan was very open and flowing, with large doors opening to pool area and outside views. The kitchen was amazing, and the Meile coffee maker was outstanding for espresso and coffee lovers.

The staff was wonderful, and became like family. We gave it a “10”, and can’t wait to return.

Are you kidding me!!! Amazing Property!

Pinched myself every am as I awoke to the sound of the ocean and the view of the infinity pool with the ocean as a backdrop. This home has it all! From the satellite radio in every room to the outdoor showers (used every day and night)in every room.. from the pool table and bar..to the Ralph Lauren bathrobes and beach towels. We loved and enjoyed it all! Oh! they even have our favorite L’Occitane products in every shower and bathroom…home sweet home :) What else?..great wine fridge (for those of us who love our wines) free calls to the states from one of the house phones (VERY handy considering cell reception was spotty on the island. great way to check voice mails) Amazing grill! so feel free to shop or have a private chef cook a great steak or fish without leaving the property. The maid service was the best, these girls were like our friends by the end of the two weeks (we even had them stay for dinner one night..great way to REALLY learn about the island). The owners also leave four sets of snorkel gear to take to the beach with you, so no need to rent or bring your own. Comfy comfy beds!!! Quiet quiet!! Great location! 5 minute drive to Shoal Bay beach (best beach on the island, ask anyone). 10 minute drive to Alberts grocery store. I’ve been everywhere and and love to try new places…not next year…I’m going back to Sandcastle point! Can’t describe the bond I now feel with Anguilla. The very best place we have ever stayed…Rock Star gorgeous! 4 bedrooms, 6 baths, gourmet kitchen, bar, pool table, each bedroom has an inside and outside shower…the view’s are to die for, infinity pool overlooking 180 degrees of ocean.  The staff could not be more helpful and pleasant. Fourth time in Anguilla and this Villa is located near the best beach in the BWI.
