We stayed in Five Turtles with our kids, aged 3-9 and my parents. The lay out and rooms were perfect. It was nice to have the bedrooms divided (2 on each end of the house) for when our youngest needed to go to bed. The bedrooms were spacious and the fixtures, amenities, and kitchen supplies were fantastic. We were very comfortable there for the week. The outdoor shower was excellent! It was especially great to have the second fridge. Pool and beach supplies were excellent and much appreciated. You can’t beat the walk to the beach. There were a fair number of people (a little more than I expected) that would walk through “our” beach and sometimes even be sitting right in front of the house if we weren’t out first thing in the morning but everyone was very friendly and considerate and my son met some friends for the week. We saw a few small fish during the week, found a star fish and a live sand dollar, but otherwise no major sea life and seashells were mostly tiny but fun to collect. The water is very calm here and shallow for a very long stretch- minimal rocks in the shallowest water but then turns to pure soft sand very quickly.

The mosquitoes were quite relentless, especially in the morning and evening so be prepared for that. The only possible ways I could see this villa would be improved would be to have a larger indoor table to have a dining option for your entire group when mosquitoes are biting or to trim back a bit of the bushes/trees to get a better view of the ocean from the pool.

Overall I do highly recommend this villa and would definitely go back. As a bonus treat yourself to an in villa massage by Phenomenal Mobile Spa. It was the best massage we’ve had in any country!

Great. Andrew is responsive and helpful with planning many aspects of the trip. I appreciated the emails about the current covid situation and requirements.

The most beautiful water I’ve ever been in. The direct access to the serene beach was just what my soul needed. The three teens in my home and my husband enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. The home was comfortable updated and spacious kitchen was supplied w all we needed and sheets towels etc were high quality. Quick drive to airport and Grace Bay yet far enough away to feel private. Special place!

Amazing home and location

We stayed here for a week with our family and friends and it couldn’t have been more perfect the location was everything! Our kids got to swim in the pool everyday and then when we wanted to go on the beach we just walked out the back gate and the beach was so shallow and calm and just perfect for our kids. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone!

Five Turtles Villa was everything promised and more! This enchanting four-bedroom villa was tranquil and beautiful, and perfectly accommodated our three generation family. We really enjoyed the layout of the house’s centrally placed family gathering area and well-equipped kitchen separating two serene bedroom wings. We honestly felt like we were on our own secluded beach from sun up to sun down. Having beach access on such a quiet and beautiful part of the island was truly a treasure. Access to the villa’s kayaks and paddle boards played heavily in our choice of Five Turtles. Use of the paddle boards and kayaks in the cove, along with the villa’s plethora of floats, beach chairs, and beach toys, offered us the option to stay active, explore, or sit back and relax with our feet in the sand. We will be back! The only thing we needed to be better prepared for were the attacks of the mosquitos. They were a bit much during our afternoon swims in the pool, dinners on the pool patio, and nightly walks down to the beach - just come overly prepared. While we’d love to keep such a gem a secret so it’s readily available for our next getaway, we’ve found that we can’t stop sharing with everyone how fabulous our vacation was at Five Turtles Villa.

From start to finish, we were extremely impressed with the entire booking process and WhereToStay staff! Andrew made our selection process seamless with his insight, recommendations, and knowledge. The villa staff accommodated every need from greeting us at check-in and stocking the fridge with beer, snacks, and essentials, to the day-to-day assurance of a clean and well-maintained villa and grounds. Any staff member that we communicated with was attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was perfect.

Spectacular Villa

This is the second time we’ve booked with Wheretostay.com and visited the Five Turtles Villa in Turks and Caicos. This was such a beautiful villa, it’s well-designed with optimum proximity to the tranquil Taylor Bay beach. The waters were so placid, which was perfect for a family with little kids. Plus, the villa was well stocked with all sorts of kitchen, beach, and pool items. We had a lovely dinner with Chef Latika, who Andrew recommended. The curry grouper was delicious! Even my picky, 6 year old son gobbled up the fish cakes.

Andrew was very helpful in answering all our questions and getting back to us promptly. His recommendation for a private chef was spot on!

Amazing as Always

We always love staying at Five Turtles - everything runs so smoothly with booking and check-in / check-out. We had a small problem with the hot water heater this time, and our contact made sure it was resolved quickly and unobtrusively. Taylor Bay is a beautiful location. It was a little crowded this time with lots of kids and some loud music, so we may avoid Spring Break week on our next visit. Otherwise, it’s the perfect place to be! The house is clean, beautiful, and nicely updated - we love it!

Just Wonderful

The pictures do not do justice to this charming villa. We had a wonderful week. The beach is gorgeous and the sunsets are magnificent. The layout of the villa is perfect, and we had a lot of fun.

Booking through WhereToStay.com was very helpful. Andrew was terrific with suggestions and planning in advance. Julian was immediately available onsite whenever we needed help.

Five Turtles Villa is awesome. We had a wonderful time. This place was beautiful and had all the amenities of home.
There was plenty of space for our family. We loved it and would definitely go back.

We just returned from 10 fabulous days at Five Turtles. We traveled with another couple to celebrate our 25th anniversaries and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We were happy we even make it there in the midst of Hurricane Andrew threatening to change our plans, but American Airlines flew right around it! We have been to the Turks 3 other times but have always stayed at a resort. Renting a villa is the way to go if you really want to relax and experience the island. Five Turtles exceeded our expectations. Every day we would wake up and enjoy coffee and breakfast made in our well appointed kitchen. They had everything a discerning chef would need to make every meal. Walk out the gate and along the sand dollar stepping stones and you were on your private beach because there is typically not any one else there. We loved the tree for our own personal use and shade. The beach chairs we could carry to the beach were fantastic, perfect for lazing the day away. The kayaks and paddle boards were also put to use daily; that was an unexpected surprise. There were beach towels for use along with sunscreen and bug spray . We had brought our own but good to know that it was there. The pool was refreshing and perfect temperature. The villa was clean, and kept in perfect condition. We rented a car and tried all the local eateries that were opened since we were traveling during off season. We will be back!

Andrew felt like my best friend by the time we arrived. He had to deal with me and my craziness fearing that the trip would be cancelled due to the hurricane but he stayed calm and in contact with me each day leading up to the trip. Before booking he was a wealth of information as to which house he thought would suit our needs most and was spot on in his recommendation. The couple we traveled with had never been to the Caribbean and they were so happy with the choice we made and all of Andrews recommendations. It really couldn’t have been any better.

Thanks to Andrew, and all at Where to Stay we could not have had a better experience in T&C. Andrew was very communicative with all aspects of the Villa, our arrival instructions, and Island “TO DO’s, and To Dine”. Taylors Bay, and the Five Turtles Villa exceeded all expectations. We had 4 adults, and 4 children ages 7-11. The FTV was more than ample in both interior and patio space. The Villa was very clean, and well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies. The water sports equipment available with the Villa, the depth of the ocean, and secured fenced property allowed us to never be concerned for children’s safety. Again, Highly recommend the team at Where to Stay, especially Andrew. Pick a location, and seek his input. Your family will not be disappointed. Regards, The Mann Family.

This villa is amazing, and fulfilled every one of our expectations.  Beautifully appointed, in a peaceful area without any tourist trappings, on the shores of what has to be one of the most gorgeous beaches anywhere.  We’ll definitely be coming back!

We really appreciated the advice our booking agent gave in response to my information about what we ware looking for - the villa fit all of our criteria, and was exactly as our booking agent represented.  All stages of the trip went smoothly, from booking to arrival to departure.  It was nice to be able to rely on Andrew’s recommendations in all respects.  Thank you!

Great property!

VERY comfortable villa, well appointed with the exception of annoying/almost unusable couch/chairs in the TV area (low seating configurations), which affected evenings in a big way. Julian is efficient but service people didn’t show up to fix dryer as expected.
Paid $92 in AC fees - would be nice to see meters that can be corroborated.
Lastly, 250 yards (not 50 as advertised) of really shallow water is a lot to wade thru to reach deeper water.

Really positive! Andrew is efficient, personable, has great follow up skills and is candid above pros/cons

This is a great villa!

Five Turtles is a great villa. It is located just steps from Taylor Bay, which is an excellent quiet beach great for swimming and for children. Kayaks are also provided, which is a big plus. 

The staff takes care of all of your wishes. There is a washer and dryer, too. There is no central air, but there is A/C in the bedrooms. The outdoor area is very comfortable. 

I would definitely return.
