Ginger, St. Barts villa review

Ginger Villa defies the statement that a picture is worth a thousand words. No picture does it justice, and words are inadequate when you try to represent the feel, and vibe of how gorgeous this villa is. The steep, winding drive to the villa is an early indication to the glorious view that awaits you. As you approach the top, the gate opens to unveil an incredible panoramic view like no other that we have seen on this island. In fact, locals told us that they have been all over the whole island, and have never seen a view that compares to the one from Ginger! The villa is immaculate, streamlined, and welcoming in every way. It literally takes your breath away as you look out over the ocean to the immediate smaller islands, and the larger islands off the coast line. The huge infinity pool seamlessly blends into the ocean view. The rooms are fantastic, all similar, simple, comfortable. Each decorated with lovely orchids, a bose music system, and plenty of storage. The kitchen is high end, and gourmet in every way, with many extras for entertaining. The hot tub surrounded by candle lanterns is perfect in the morning, or after a long day. Every element has been considered in the design of this villa. You are left wanting nothing more, well, except for maybe another week! The only small issue we had were the mosquitos. There were many, and you will need some bug spray. Small price to pay for literally a piece of heaven on earth! We would rent this villa again in a heartbeat.

It doesn’t get better than Ms. Shawna, and WhereToStay.com!! When we first reached out to her, we literally got an answer back immediately, which was in direct contrast to some other sites we tried. Customer service is a top priority for Shawna! She was with us every step of the way, answered every question, gave us her first hand knowledge of incredible St. Barths, and shared her personal insight on the many villas that would best suit our taste. She was understanding of all of our questions or concerns, no matter how small. She is extremely knowledgeable and well traveled, and extraordinarily kind. This is a business that is run by a woman who knows what to ask so the client gets what they want, but at the same time, helps you navigate planning your trip asking questions you may not have considered in order to fit you with the villa that is best for you. Shawna and WhereToStay.com not only keeps you informed prior to your trip, but sends you reminders for things you may have forgotten, suggestions for things to do, or restaurants that you may enjoy. There is even a follow up to welcome you upon your return home. We will be booking all of our future vacations through Shawna. We are so grateful to her for ensuring that we had such an amazing trip, and we are so thankful for helping to make our 50th Birthdays so memorable!!!
