Know Before You Go...®
Ventanas is perfect if you want a one-bedroom with as much privacy as possible without renting your own island. Most of the villas on Cayo Espanto are on the island and have a dock that juts into the water, but Ventanas is the opposite - it floats over the water and is connected to the island by a 150-ft long dock. Not only that, but the villa also has its own motorboat.
Casa Ventanas is the most private villa on Cayo Espanto. It sits at the end of a 150-ft long dock, and is the only villa that doesn’t sit directly on the island.
Ventanas is surrounded on the sea on four sides and has its own motorboat. Ocean views abound, and every room has shuttered windows and large doors that open to the wraparound patio. Casa Ventana’s interior is different from the other villas on the island, because the living area and bedroom are in the same space. The interior is fully air-conditioned, and there’s a glass panel in the center of the floor so guests can watch fish and turtles swim beneath the home. This space has modern comforts like WiFi, a docking station, a satellite TV, a DVD player, and a movie library. The king bed with premium Egyptian cotton linens sits to the side, and the sleek bathroom has Turkish bath robes and Lady Primrose bath soaps. Award-winning chefs cook three meals a day, and nightly turn-down service adds a five-star touch.
Daytime transportation is available between Cayo Espanto and San Pedro, Belize. The mainland offers exotic rainforests, white sand beaches, and the second largest barrier reef in the world.
