Bottom Bay House will accommodate up to six people, and since all the rooms have king beds that can convert to twins, each person will have their own space. The formal dining room will easily accommodate 12 people; but better yet, take the party out to the patio and dine al fresco while watching the sunset over the bay. After dinner, enjoy a moonlight swim in the lighted pool, or make the short walk to the beach and listen to the waves.
Full staff, amazing views
Bottom Bay House sits on a coral escarpment overlooking the southeast coast of Barbados. Its unique cliffside perch combines complete privacy with gorgeous views, and a high perimeter wall ensures absolute security.
Beyond the shady tiled patio lies a large swimming pool, enclosed for privacy and equipped with lights for nighttime swims. Palm trees surround the pool, and a gazebo sits nearby. The garden and lily pond rest on the other side of the dining veranda, and a brick tiled patio stretches along the beach.
This handsomely built coral stone and tropical wood villa has been furnished antique and contemporary pieces. The formal dining room with seating for twelve and a large living room provide space to sit and relax, and the powder room, maids’ rooms, and bath round out the common areas. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with sleek cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. A laundry room, full pantry, and wet bar are attached.
The bedroom wing is separated from the common area by a landscaped inner courtyard. The air-conditioned master suite is ideally situated with an ocean view, and it features twin dressers, a walk-in wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with two sinks and bidet. There are two guest suites with their own bathrooms, as well as a study that can be used as an additional bedroom. Each suite has two twin beds that can convert into a king and an ensuite bathroom.
Daily housekeeping and landscaping staff ensure that the villa is beautifully maintained at all times. Bottom Bay’s perfect white coral sand beach is just a two-minute stroll away.

Bottom Bay House, Barbados villa review
It was our third year spending the holidays at Bottom Bay and our best yet. The villa occupies a perch over Bottom Bay Beach, named #12 on CNN’s list of the top 20 cliff side beaches in the world.
The aesthetics of the house create a perfect blend between the natural limestone cliffs and building materials. It seems destined to occupy this precise spot. Ever changing light during the day means that each spot has a perfect moment; the covered koi pond area for lunch, the shaded patio for breakfast, the terraces and pool for afternoon, and the gazebo for evening. It is all sublime.
The household is powered by staff who know and truly care about the home. They look after anything needing attention and Nokine keeps things sparkling. If your taste runs to pumpkin fritters, rice and peas, and flying fish, then Margarita is available in the kitchen to work her magic.
We are already booked for next year!
