Bananaquit, St. John villa review
Exactly what we wanted and needed!! Banaquit is a fabulous villa that will provide stunning sunsets nightly with views over to St. Thomas. The pool is perfect for a late day dip. The rooms and bathrooms are perfectly equipped and provide optimal privacy. The kitchen and laundry room were great and used daily. We loved having TVs and separate A/C in every bedroom! It had everything we wanted and needed. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Amazing Stay!
Bananaquit, St. John villa review
We loved Bananaquit! It was perfect for our family of 5! I cannot think of a better view on St. John than Bananaquit. The location is about 10-15 min from Cruz Bay, but we loved it because if gave us respite from the buzz of Cruz Bay, but it also gave us access to hiking trails and beaches closer to Coral Bay! The pool is amazing, and my kids loved it both in the morning before our adventures and to chill before dinner. All the bedrooms are great sizes. The kitchen is not huge, but perfect for easy meals. The outdoor deck area was amazing and we spent most of our time there when we were between activities or starting our days.
We had a minor issue (our fault!) and needed to call the Emergency line and the staff was amazing and solved our problem almost immediately. Truly amazing.
The “family room” was small, as there are only 5 seats to watch TV (we were there during March Madness!), and that included 3 people on a wicker sofa. But, it really didn’t matter as we spent so little time indoors. We improvised by moving dining room chairs over, but it wasn’t ideal. It could be an issue if a booking is looking for something more formal or to accommodate more than 5 people.
But, for us, it was PERFECT! Thank you Where to Stay for making everything seamless for our vacation to St. John!
Betsy and WhereToStay were impeccable! Our stay was perfect. in large part to them. I will only book through them in the future!

Beautiful villa with an incredible view!
Bananaquit, St. John villa review
Villa was just as described. All three bedrooms are wonderful with ensuites. The three bedrooms are equally nice. The pool has sun most of the day, so it is nice even in the late winter season. What views! Kitchen has everything you might need. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.
Betsy was very responsive and proactive. Made it easy to plan our trip.

Bananaquit, St. John villa review
Bananaquit has been enjoyed by our group so much. It is the only villa we have stayed at more than once. Layout is perfect for 3 couples, view for evening relaxing is great. Those caring for the villa do an excellent job.

Once again, the outstanding features and location of Bananaquit made our reunion vacation with friends an absolutely wonderful, 5-star experience! This is our second year at Bananaquit and it continues to be a perfect place to stay. I highly recommend a stay there when people vacation in STJ!

Bananaquit is an ideal place for couples or families to enjoy the full offerings of St John in a beautiful location with a breathtaking view. The layout of the vIlla is extremely well thought out as it allows for a great combination of community and privacy. We would definitely stay here again.
Shawna made everything easy and was a great “coach” for us in planning our trip. She communicates clearly and is very friendly and a pleasure to work with on addressing all trip and travel details. She gets a 5 star rating from our group!

Winter getaway 2022
Bananaquit, St. John villa review
Bananaquit was the perfect house for 3 couples. With equal bedrooms set in separate houses, it provided each couple with privacy and comfort. The views were amazing and the lush tropical landscaping greeted you each time you entered the home. The management was there when we ran low on gas and quickly replaced it to restore our hot water. The pool was beautiful but cool and a heater would have been an added bonus. Overall Bananaquit was a great place to stay!

This was the perfect stay for my family of 5. Just a short ride up from Cruz Bay, with all the amenities.
The pool and the views are spectacular!
The concierge service took care of everything for us, we are so grateful we found this gem. We can’t wait to go back!
Betsy took care of everything for us. I feel so lucky to have found her.
